Box Score NORTH DARTMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS - The UMass Dartmouth Corsairs handed Thomas a loss in their final regular season matchup of the season on Tuesday, September 26th.
Seniors Riley Pierce and Lauren Smith played well at #1 doubles, losing a hard-fought battle 8-4. On the second court, sophomores Libby Forgues and Keira Gilman came up just short with an 8-5 loss in #2 doubles. In the singles matches of the day for the Terriers, Pierce would drop her match at #2 singles 6-2, 6-1. Gilman would keep it close losing the first set 6-4 but would go on to lose the matchup in #3 singles.
What's Next: The number 4 seed Terriers will travel to Bangor, Maine to play in the 2-day NAC Women's Tennis Tournament on Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st.
