Box Score Nashua, NH – The Terriers took home the 3-1 win on road game at Rivier University with Junior
Julia Reny leading the pack with two goals. The Terriers were dominate in the circle earning themselves 27 corners.
How it Happened:
- Wasting no time Reny and her offense gets the ball down the field and scored off an assist from Paige Gilbert 30 seconds into the game.
- 12 more shots were made in the next fourteen minutes by the Terriers but Raiders goalkeeper Kylie Coupal played strong saving seven on net.
- A slow second quarter only brought only four shooting opportunities for Thomas; all were shots on goal.
- Repeating the first quarter the Terriers started off the third scoring in the first 30 seconds, this time scored by Junior Avery Herrick assisted by Reny.
- Just three short minutes later Reny scored her second of the game off a rebounded shot by Kara Richards.
- Junior keeper Brennan Pinto made two important saves in the third, keeping the score 3-0 headed into the final fifteen minutes.
- The Raiders got their loan goal of the game off a fast break early in the fourth quarter.
- The Terriers would go on to earn nine penalty corners in the remaining fourteen minutes of the game, but unable to get another in the back of the net.
Goalkeepers:
Pinto went on to make four saves off the Raiders ten shots taken, and played the full sixty minutes.
Rivier keeper Coupal made eighteen saves playing all four quarters.
