Box Score Castleton, VT – The Terriers spent their second day on the road at Vermont State University Castleton. The final score was 5-1 but Thomas out preformed the Spartans in the final three quarters, earning 16 penalty corners to Castleton's 3 and out shooting them 21-14.
How it Happened:
- The Terriers not yet adjusting, the Spartans were able to get four total goals scored in the first fifteen minutes.
- Castleton then earned a penalty stroke early in the second quarter, getting their fifth and final goal of the game.
- Ten minutes before halftime, Leah Knight takes the ball from the fifty all the way to the endline, making a pass right in front for Avery Herrick to knock in earning the Terriers loan goal for the day.
- Thomas momentum shifts after halftime as the Terriers had strong offensive pressure, with nine penalty corners in the third quarter, four of them being back-to-back.
- Even with the majority of possession in the third and fourth a strong Spartan defense stay contained and kept the Terriers to just one.

Elise Syphers played the full sixty minutes making eleven saves. Spartan keeper Zoe Martin also played the full game making nine saves.
