Box Score Waterville, ME – The Terriers took on Gordon College Tuesday, September 12 and won 7-0 with four different players scoring, along with a hat trick by Junior Captain
Julia Reny. The Terriers outshot the Fighting Scots 34 to 2, taking as many as 13 shots in one quarter.
How it Happened:
- The first goal was scored quickly in the first quarter, five minutes in during a penalty corner, Julia Reny hit the back of the net, she was assisted by Molly Littlefield and Riley Enright.
- An uneventful second quarter took the Terriers into halftime only up by one.
- Needing to capitalize in the third, Kara Richards beat the defender and did a reversed flick, scoring the second goal of the game.
- Goals three and four were scored within seconds of each other, five minutes after Richards goal, first being Avery Herrick from a ball by Kayci Faulkingham, then followed by Herrick assisting Reny's second goal of the night.
- Up 4-0 going into the fourth quarter Thomas kept on the gas, with Samantha Thebarge getting her first goal of the game from a dished ball by Reny.
- Reny then got her hat trick a minute later from beautiful give and go passing by teammate Paige Gilbert, 6-0 Thomas.
- The final Terrier goal came from Thebarge off a penalty stroke, with just over five minutes left in the game, final score 7-0 Thomas.

Both Gordon goalies got in the action, they ended the game with fifteen saves overall.
