WATERVILLE, MAINE - The Terriers defeated the Salem State Vikings by a score of 7-2 on Wednesday September 13th. Seniors Riley Pierce and Lauren Smith started the day with a win in #1 Doubles winning 8-4, while Junior Keira Gilman, and Sophomore Libby Forgues followed with a win in #2 doubles defeating their opponents 8-2. Graduate Student Renée Rossi, and first year Tracy Lopez lost a close one in #3 doubles falling 7-8, 5-7. 

Lauren Smith picked up a win in her #1 singles match winning 6-1, 6-1. Riley Pierce also picked up a win in #2 singles defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-4. Keira Gilman and Libby Forgues would pick up in #3 and #4 singles winning 6-4, 6-2, and 6-0, 6-2 respectively. In #5 singles Rossi would drop another close one for the Terriers in a 6-8 match. Lopez would finish the day with another win for the Terriers winning 8-4 in #6 singles. 

What's Next: The Thomas Womens Tennis Team will host the Lesley University Lynx on Saturday September 16th at 1 PM.
