Box Score Waterville, ME – Men's Basketball played their first game of the weekend against the University of Maine Presque Isle on Friday, February 3
rd. After a back and forth game Terriers come up short, 88-77.

Thomas College: Overall (3-18), NAC (1-11)
University of Maine Presque Isle: Overall (7-13), NAC (4-6)
How it Happened:
- The Terriers were the first ones on the board, but the Owls were able to capitalize on some plays quickly taking the score 16-8 UMPI
- In just over a minute First Year Trey Brown was able to bring the Terriers back into the game adding a quick six points, only putting the Terriers down by two points, 30-28
- Free Throws later the first gave Thomas the lead for the first time since the start of the game, 34-33
- In the last minute the Owls were able to advance with a five point run, going into halftime 42-37
- With good passes to the basket Thomas was able to minimize the Owls lead, but unable to get the necessary stops to get ahead, Final score 88-77 UMPI
Inside the Numbers:
- Sawyer Deprey finished the night with great numbers. Twenty-one total points, going five of five at the free throw line, and ten rebounds
- Parker Desjardins also finished the night with twenty-one points, along with four steals
- Matthew Hadnot ended with the second highest rebounds for the Terriers at seven
- The Terriers went 86.7% at the free throw line

Thomas will host the University of Maine Presque Isle on Saturday, February 4
th at 3pm, this will also be the teams Senior Day.
