HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Polar Bears would start with an early 5-point lead, but Sophomore James Phelan would get fouled after sinking a layup for a 3-point play, and would cut the Terriers deficit to 2 points

Bowdoin would maintain the lead, but three pointers from Junior Parker Desjardins and Graduate Student Cooper Wirkala would tie the game at 19-19 midway through the 1st half

The Polar Bears would go on a 10-0 run late in the first half taking a 44-33 lead

The Terriers would flip the momentum in the final minutes of the half, with Desjardins hitting back-to-back layups, and Junior Mark McDonald also scoring within the paint to make it 5-point game

Bowdoin would end the half with a 49-40 lead, but the Terriers would come out hot in the 2nd going on a 9-0 run to cut the Polar Bears lead to 1 point

The Polar Bears would answer quickly, going on a run of their own to give Bowdoin a 10-point lead with 11 minutes to go

McDonald would hit 2 crucial 3-pointers and Wirkala would knock down a pair of free throws to make it a 68-66 game with 8 minutes left

But the Polar Bears would go on another big scoring run and would shut the Terriers down for the remainder of the half, handing the Terriers a 91-77 loss
