Waterville, ME – The Thomas Terriers got a double double from Sky Kubwalo to lead them to a 66-62 win over the University of Massachusetts Boston Beacons on Sunday, November 12^th, 2023. 
 
Thomas College: Overall (2-1)
UMASS Boston: Overall (0-2)

How It Happened:

• Sky Kubwalo's 16 points and 10 rebounds led the way for the Terrier offense, while Hannah Coolen provided 14 points off the bench. 

• Trailing by 2 at the end of the first quarter the Terrier's began to find their rhythm, the second quarter saw Thomas score 22 points, with 12 of them coming of 3 pointers, the strong run offensively and a solid defensive quarter saw them take a 40-33 lead into the half, another strong 3rd quarter for Thomas extended the lead to 55-46.

• UMass wouldn't go quietly as the made a 4th quarter run, they cut the lead to as close as 2 points, Hannah Coolen would go on to hit 4 clutch free throws in the dying moments to claim the win for Thomas.
