How it Happened:
- The Terriers started the game well, scoring within the first 36 seconds. Daud Abdi sent in a perfect cross that found Shane Robinson, who put the ball in the back of the Badger net to take a 1-0 lead.
- 22 Minutes later, a penalty kick was awarded to the Terriers. Carter Pelletier stepped up to the penalty spot, and calmly placed the ball into the bottom right corner to take a 2-0 lead.
- In the 35th minute, Gabriel Fortuna was able to perfectly place the ball into the bottom right corner at a tight angle to give the Terriers a 3-0 lead.
- In the 40th minute, Mustafa Najm scored to extend the lead to four, with the assist coming from Tre Burgess.
- The Terriers took a commanding 4-0 lead into halftime, and never looked back.
- Two minutes after halftime, the Terriers struck again. Abdi found the back of the net, being assisted by Pelletier to take a 5-0 lead.
- In the 50th minute, the Terriers would get their final goal. Julen Zuidervaart sent in a pass over the top of the Badger defense, which found Pelletier who placed the ball into the bottom left corner to extend the lead to six.
- The Terriers had a variety of chances after the final goal, but all shots on goal either went wide, or were saved by Badger goalkeeper Dylan Haskins.
- In the final minute of the game, a Badger shot would've found the top left corner, but Terrier goalkeeper Declan Hay made the final save to preserve the shutout.
- The Terriers ended the day outshooting the Badgers 27-7 in a dominant performance.
The Goalkeepers:
Three Terrier goalkeepers saw time in net today. Matthew Gosselin got the start, playing 28 minutes, making one save. Keein Wright played 33 minutes, not needing to make any saves. And Finally, Hay played 29 minutes to preserve the shutout.
Badger goalkeeper Haskins played all 90 minutes, making seven impressive saves.

The Terriers will look to continue their success as they travel to Lyndonville, Vermont to take on Vermont State University Lyndon on October 14th, 2023. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 PM.
