Box Score Bangor, ME – The Terriers took on the Husson University Eagles on Tuesday, October 3
rd and ended with a 3-1 win. Early goals solidified the win for Thomas, including Junior
Julia Reny scoring off a penalty stroke in the second quarter.
How it Happened:
- An offensive heavy first half led the Terriers to have multiple penalty corner opportunities. Thomas's first goal was scored ten minutes into the game when Junior Molly Littlefield put in a rebound off the Eagles keeper.
- Three more Terrier shots were taken before the quarter ended but none were able to find the back of the cage.
- Five minutes into the second quarter a Terrier shot on goal hit an Eagles foot forcing a penalty stroke and goal from Reny.
- Quick momentum hit the Husson line with their first and only goal of the game being scored four minutes later.
- The final Thomas goal was scored before halftime hit, yet again off a penalty corner and scored by Reny and assisted by Littlefield.
- The Eagles then went on to out shoot and earn more one more penalty corner in the third quarter but steady defense by the Terriers kept Husson to their loan goal.
- The Terriers kept strong possession in the fourth ending with the non-conference win.

Elise Syphers played the full sixty minutes and made five saves.
Husson keeper Kimmie Goddard also played the full game and ended making nine saves.
