Emily Rock on Wednesday, October 18
th, 2023.

How it Happened:
- The Mariners wasted no time, taking six shots in the first nine minutes.
- The first good chance for the Mariners was in the 6th minute, when a shot hit the crossbar and bounced back in play.
- Rock made two saves from shots the bottom center in the net in the opening 15 minutes.
- The Terriers had their first shot in the 15th minute, as Aminah Davis-Macias's shot ended up wide of the Mariner net.
- The Mariners scored in the 16th minute, an unsavable curled shot into the top right corner.
- Rock made a save an average of every six minutes for the remaining time in the first half, going into the break down 0-1.
- The Mariners had another chance to score in the 54th minute. A Mariner shot went wide of the Terrier net, and eight seconds later Rock was forced to make another save.
- The Terriers best chance to score was in the 66th minute. Abbie Lerman got a shot off that was headed to the bottom left corner of the net, but it was saved by Mariner goalkeeper Isa Thesing.
- The Terriers were unable to generate any more shots past the 66th minute, while Rock made two more saves in the remaining time.
- The Terriers played well against a strong Maine Maritime squad, with a huge defensive performance.
- The Mariners outshot the Terriers 33-3, but only walked away with a 1-0 win.
The Goalkeepers:
Rock played the entire 90 minutes in net for the Terriers, putting in a stellar performance with 13 saves.
Mariners goalkeeper Thesing played the full 90 minutes and made one save.
What's Next:
The Terriers will look to bounce back in their final regular season game against Husson University at home, on October 21
st, 2023. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 PM.
