Box Score Waterville, ME – Thomas College Field Hockey won 6-0 against the St. Joesph's College (ME) on Sunday, October 15th. Four different Terriers contributed to the shutout.
How it Happened:

Within the first two minutes of the first quarter, First Year Kara Richards scored an unassisted goal from the top of the circle.

Six more shots were taken by the Terriers before Junior Avery Herrick put in a rebounded shot, making it 2-0 just before the first quarter ended.

With five minutes left in the second quarter, Julia Reny nailed a shot at the back of the net, bringing the score to 3-0 Thomas.

The next Terrier goal was scored in the third quarter, with Samantha Thebarge putting in a great ball off a penalty corner and Reny securing the tip, scoring her second of the game.

Sophomore Eva-Marie Stevens then scored the final two goals of the game, both in the fourth quarter.
The Goalkeepers:
Junior Elise Syphers got the win today for the Terriers. She made one save and played three quarters before being relieved by First Year Mackenzie Toner at the start of the fourth.
Monks' keeper Kassidy Collins played the full sixty minutes and had an impressive day with seventeen saves.

The Terriers will travel to Farmington, Maine this Tuesday, October 17th to play the University of Maine Farmington Beavers at 4pm in a NAC Conference game.
