Box Score Canton, NY – Women's Basketball travels to SUNY Canton for a NAC Conference match up Saturday, January 14
th and left with a loss against the Roo's, 81-58. Twenty-one of those points from SUNY Canton coming from foul shots.

How it Happened:
- Out of the gate the Terriers had a great start with the Roo's, going back and forth in the quarter. Including four points from First Year Hannah Coolen and a three from Elena Alderman, finishing the first quarter 17-16 SUNY Canton
- With a low scoring second quarter for the Terriers, halftime started with the Roo's up thirteen points, 35-22
- The Terriers continued to not give up with the movement of fast breaks and attempted three's
- The third quarter was also when SUNY Canton took advantage of all the fouls, ten of there twenty-nine points coming from the line, giving them the opportunity to lead into the fourth, 66-37
- Many of the fourth quarter was also spent on the line but the Terriers now able to show skills from the free throw line as fourteen of the Terriers twenty-one points were scored from there
- Unable to catch the Roo's lead, Terriers finish with a score of 81-58 in SUNY Cantons favor
Inside the Numbers:
- Thomas went 86% on the line, making nineteen out of the twenty-two
- Samantha Fortin (twelve) and Coolen (eleven) were the Terriers high scores tonight
- Fortin finished with eight rebounds, while Alderman and Jocelyn Jordan collected the second highest for the Terriers with six
