Box Score Biddeford, ME - Thomas College Men's Soccer defeats University of New England 4-2 on first road game of the season. Senior Eric LaBrie recorded two of the four goals tonight, both in the first half. Goal number three came from first year Gabriel Guizelini Fortuna, then rounded out by Micky Woodrow late in the second half.

How it Happened:
  • LaBrie's first goal of the night came unassisted on a Penalty Kick
  • Both Fortuna and Julen Zuidervaart assisted goal number two by Eric LaBrie, both were in within five minutes of each other
  • UNE contested after scoring their first goal late in the first and then tying it up in a little over the halfway mark in the second half
  • In the last seven minutes the Terriers come back with a goal from Fotuna assisted by Hunter Smith and Micky Woodrow. T
  • Then finally a goal from Woodrow assisted by Joshua Joseph with five minutes remaining.
 
Goalkeepers:

Jayce Nielsen started in goal for the Terriers and had one save before first year Keein Wright relieved him with fifteen minutes left in the first half. Matthew Gosselin had one save for the night as well as securing the win for the Terriers starting and playing the entire second half.
 
University of New England goalkeeper Triston O'Hagan had four saves and completed the full ninety minutes.
