Box Score Standish, ME - After a back-and-forth game between the Terriers and the Monks, the Terriers fall short in the 61st minute of the contest, final score 2-1.

How it Happened:
- First quarter was rather quiet for both teams, finishing the 15 minutes 0-0
- Setting the tone in the 2nd quarter was Sophomore Julia Reny scoring the first goal of the evening in the 20th minute.
- The first goal was answered to rather quickly by the Monks with a tied game only two minutes later
- After the next 30 minutes being scoreless and an outstanding performance from Goalkeeper Elise Sypers, the teams went into overtime
- The Terriers were able to get a penalty corner within 20 seconds of OT but came up short with the drop dead win for the Monks 1 minute in Overtime
Goalkeepers:
Elise Sypers had the game of her career with a total of 25 saves in the 60 minutes of play.
Monks Goalkeeper Kassidy Collins finished the night with 14 saves and receiving the win.

Terriers will have their second home game of the season Sunday, September 18th agains Colby Sawyer College. The game will take place in Bernatchez Field at 2:00 pm.
