- Immediately Junior Jayce Nielsen was tested in goal with a save within the first two minutes
- The First shot Thomas had of the game came from Sophomore Stefan Simmons early in the first half
- Then in the 43rd minute Shane Robinson contested with the second shot
- After making a total of 10 saves in the first half Nielsen was relieved by Sophomore Matthew Gosselin
