Field Hockey Get's the Win in Overtime vs Mt Holyoke

Box Score South Hadley, MA - In away match against the Mount Holyoke Lyons Terriers come up victorious in the sixth minute of overtime, winning 3-2. Sophomore Julia Reny owned two of the goals today, along with one from Graduate Student Lauren Blood.

How it Happened:
  • First goal was scored by the Terriers in the first ten minutes of play by Reny assisted by First Year Eva-Marie Stevens
  • Right at the beginning of quarter number two the Lyons answer back with a goal from Senior Mollee Malboeuf
  • The next goal comes from the Lyons Senior Kylie Brooks
  • A goal scored by Blood that was assisted my Sophomore Kallee Turner ties up the game early in the fourth
  • After six minutes in overtime Reny finished the game with an unassisted goal
 
Goalkeepers:
Sophomore Elise Syphers picked up the win for the Terriers and recorded a total of seven saves.
Rachel Katzenberg recorded a total of twelve saves for the Lyons.
 
What is Next:
The Terriers will take on Saint Joseph's College of Maine on the road Wednesday, September 14th at 5:00 pm.
