WATERVILLE, Maine - Men's lacrosse was shutout at Colby College 24-0 under the lights on Wednesday.
The Mules scored nine goals in the first quarter, and six in the second quarter to take a 15-0 lead at half time. They found the back of the net seven times in the third quarter but the Terriers held them to just two goals in the fourth quarter.
Thomas worked hard in the game and continued to fight against a very talented Colby team.
Max Irons (Limerick, Maine) led the team with three shots on goal while
Patrick Buxton (Portland, Maine) led the team in ground balls with five. Buxton played the first half in net for Thomas, making 13 saves.
Daniel Guarino (Wakefield, Mass.) came in the second half, making three saves.
