CASTINE, Maine - Thomas men's lacrosse dropped their second to last game of the season to Maine Maritime Academy by a score of 31-1

The Mariners got out to a fast start scoring eight goals in the first quarter. They followed that up with a game high 11 goals in the second quarter to give them a 19-0 lead after the first half.Â

Max Irons (Limerick, Maine) scored the Terrier's lone goal in the third quarter, with an assist from
Daniel MacWhinnie (Lanesborough, Mass.). Maine Maritime scored 13 goals in the second half enroute to their victory.Â

Dominic DeSimone (Millersville, Md.)Â led the team in ground balls with four.
Daniel Guarino (Wakefield, Mass.) started the game in net for Thomas, making seven saves.
Patrick Buxton (Portland, Maine) relieved Guarino in the second half, making eight saves.Â
