NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Men's lacrosse lost their season finale to Massachusetts College Of Liberal Arts (MCLA) 15-9 on Saturday afternoon.
The first quarter was a low scoring affair, with the Trailblazers taking the 2-1 lead.
Mathew Crisco (North Haven, Conn.) scored the lone Terriers goal at 5:10 with the assist coming from
Max Irons (Limerick, Maine). MCLA found their offensive stride in the second quarter outscoring Thomas 7-1, to take a 9-2 lead into the half.
Thomas rebounded in the second half but were unable to make up the ground they needed.
Dylan Brooks (Sanbornville, N.H.),
Jakeb Weston (West Gardiner, Maine), and Irons all scored one goal each for the Terriers in the third quarter. They played their best quarter in the fourth, outscoring the Trailblazers 4-1.
Irons led the offensive efforts with two goals and four assists. He finishes the season with 21 goals and 11 assists. Crisco had three goals in their last game, finishing with 11 goals and six assists on the season.
Patrick Buxton (Portland, Maine) made eight saves in net for the Terriers.
