Box Score Waterville, ME – The Terriers lead practically the entire game vs the Mariners, but fell behind with eight minutes left, falling to Maine Maritime Academy 81-76.

How it Happened:
- The first ten minutes started back and forth for the Terriers and Mariners with two good jump shots from Matthew Hadnot and a three by James Thomas Phelan the Terrier found themselves up by seven with ten minutes left in the first half, 19-12 Thomas
- Phelan and Kory Winch were able to keep the momentum moving for the Terriers, along with help from Rico Limcaoco and Sawyer Deprey to finish out the first half up by eight 39-31
- With three's from both Parker Desjardins and Phelan, and a jumper from Limcaoco, the Terriers were able to increase their lead by eleven four minutes into the second half
- Six missed three pointers cause the Terriers to lose some much needed energy, resulting in only being up by two with ten minutes left in the game
- After some made foul throws, three pointers, and layups the Terriers quickly found themselves down by eight with five minutes remaining
- The Terriers did not give up bringing the game to three points with fourteen seconds left, but was unable to grad a three pointer while MMA made two free throws, resulting in a final score of 81-76
Inside the Numbers:
- Winch and Phelan Finished the night with the game high of nineteen points, along with the Terriers team high of eight rebounds each.
- Hadnot was right behind finishing the night with eighteen points
- Terriers out shot the Mariners on field goals 72 to 55
- Eleven of the Terriers points came from fast breaks, where the Mariners were only able to get five
