Box Score Waterville, ME – Women's Basketball gets their first season win and Head Coach
Jason Coleman gets his first win as the Terriers Head Coach, winning 78-57 against Lesley University. Junior
Samantha Fortin had a career-high game, finishing with 24 points.

How it Happened:
- The Terriers and Fortin start out hot, going up an easy five points in the first three minutes of the game. Six of those points belonging to Fortin and a three from First Year Kristina Perry, 9-4 Thomas
- The Terriers were still in for a battle as they Lynx only let them go up one before the quarter ended, 16-15 Thomas
- The second quarter was were Elena Alderman was able to let the ball fly getting seven points and Fortin was able to get some much need points from under the basket, finishing the half up by seven 38-31 Thomas
- The Terriers were finally able to break free and get comfortable with their lead for the first time this season
- With consistent points from Fortin, Alderman, and Perry kept the lead to a solid ten with one quarter remaining, 54-44 Thomas
- With a lead that kept climbing with major help from Fortin, the Terriers found themselves at the highest lead they have had all season and their first win, with a final score of 78-57
Inside the Numbers:
- Brianne Benecke led the Terriers in rebounds picking up nine
- Along with Fortin's career high game she was able to get seven rebounds
- The Terriers also finished with their highest field goal percentage at 47.1%
