Men’s Basketball Drops Non-Conference Matchup Versus Nichols College

Box Score Dudley, MA – Men's Basketball was unable to stop Nichols College in their Tuesday evening matchup, 62-111. Parker Desjardins once again led the Terriers in points with thirteen. The Bison were able to start hot and never looked back.

How it Happened:
  • The Bison started hot, scoring the game's first ten points, as well as holding the Terriers to none in the first three minutes.
  • Seven minutes into the first half, Rico Limcaoco took a grip on the game, scoring seven straight points of his 12 though the contest and helping hold the Bison to zero over that three-minute stretch.
  • The Terriers were unable to score for the next four minutes, then went back and forth with the Bison to find themselves at a 31-55 halftime score.
  • The first three minutes of the second half were promising, as the Terriers only held the Bison to two field goals.
  • The trouble came when the Terriers couldn't find the scoring touch for several minute stretches multiple different times in the second half.
  • The final three minutes were positive, as the Terriers outscored the Bison seven to five, with buckets coming from Parker Morrison, Logan Welch, and Drew Foley
 
Inside the Numbers:
  • Sawyer Deprey led the team in rebounds, finishing with nine and four points.
  • The Terriers only scored two points from fast breaks, while the Bison scored 39.
  • The Terriers struggled from three in this contest, going five for twenty from beyond the arc.
  • Matthew Hadnot put together a solid game, scoring eight, with seven rebounds and three assists.
  • The Terriers never led through the entire contest and were outscored in the paint 32-70.
 
What's Next:
Thomas will look to rebound as they travel to Plymouth State University on November 29th. Tip-off Is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
