Box Score Waterville, ME – After a great game of field hockey played by both Thomas and Colby College, Mules come out victorious 4-2. First Year
Eva-Marie Stevens was able to help in the offensive end of the field while Sophomore
Brennan Pinto held down the backfield for the Terriers.

Thomas College: Overall (4-6), NECC (1-0)
Colby College: Overall (5-4), NESCAC (1-4)
How it Happened:
- An early goal by the Mules was scored in the first two minutes of play
- Not even two minutes later the Terriers respond with a goal by Stevens, assisted by Sophomore Avery Herrick
- Pinto then went on to make five more saves before goal number two was put in by the Mules with thirty seconds left in the first quarter
- The second quarter was scoreless
- At the start of the third quarter the Mules went up 3-1
- Eight minutes in Stevens recorded her second goal of the night, after she rebounded a shot by Sophomore Julia Reny
- A minute in the fourth quarter a penalty stroke was awarded to the Mules, Pinto made a great save to her left to keep the score 3-2
- Not even two minutes later the Mules received another opportunity to net a stroke but with a wide shot the score stayed 3-2
- With a few seconds left, the fourth goal was scored by Colby, giving us out final score of 4-2

Brennan Pinto got the start and recorded twelve saves on the night, one being a save from a stroke in the fourth.
Colby Colleges Emily Loeb took the win for the Mules with no saves in the game.

The Terriers will travel to Bangor, Maine to take on Husson University in a NECC Conference Game at 6:00 pm.
