Field Hockey Finishes Senior Day with a 7-0 Win Over Farmington

Box Score Waterville, ME – Four different players for the Terriers scored in today's Senior game against U-Maine Farmington. This included Senior Lauren Blood who had two of the seven, Sophomore Julia Reny, Sophomore Kallee Turner, and First Year Eva-Marie Stevens who notched a hat trick.

Thomas College: Overall (6-8), NECC (3-2)
University of Maine Farmington: Overall (1-10), NECC (0-4)
 
How it Happened:
  • The Terriers started out right at the start with Stevens first goal on the game at seven minutes
  • Reny almost had a goal at the end of the first, but the ball ended hitting the post
  • Blood then had her first goal of the game three minutes into the second quarter, 2-0
  • Stevens was then able to pick up her second of the morning after a rebound from the goalkeeper
  • It was then twenty-five minutes in the game when Stevens got her third and final goal of the game
  • The third quarter was scoreless
  • Turner got her goal three minutes into the fourth quarter, 5-0
  • Reny was able to pick up her goal of the game with seven minutes remaining
  • Blood finished out the day with her second not even a minutes after Reny's goal
 
Goalkeepers:

Elise Syphers picked up the win for the Terriers recording one save. First Year Asia Dube relieved Syphers for the fourth quarter.
The Beavers Alicia Bridges started in goal and played the first half with three saves. Katelyn Rouleau then came in after the first half making a total of seven saves.
 
What is Next:
The Terriers play their last regular season game at New England College on Saturday October 29th at 4:00pm.
