Hampden, Maine - Women's Tennis ended their season with a 5-0 loss to Husson University in the North Atlantic Conference Championship.
The Terriers entered the match 0-2 this season against a very talented Eagles team.
Lauren Smith (Waterville, Maine) and
Kiara Goggin (West Gardiner, Maine) played admirably at first doubles, losing a tight match 8-5 to Natalie Tilton and Hannah Malinen.
The Eagles were able to win at second and fourth singles to clinch the match, unlike the regular season the match was only played until one team won five matches. There were a couple of very good matches that were not completed.
Goggin kept her momentum going from doubles splitting sets with Tilton before the match was called for the Eagles.
Magan Williams (Oakland, Maine) also played fantastically, winning the first set 7-6 in another match that was not completed.
Overall the Terriers had another terrific season under Head Coach
Rob Disch, finishing 6-6 overall and 3-1 at home.
