Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer dominates in win over UMaine - Presque Isle

WATERVILLE, Maine - Men's Soccer rebounded from their tough loss earlier this week with a commanding 6-nil win over University of Maine - Presque Isle.

Thomas couldn't have asked for a better showing at homecoming weekend in front of one of the biggest crowds of the season. They dominated play from the start, taking 15 shots in each half and controlling the tempo of the game.

Jake Warn (Winslow, Maine) opened up on the scoring in just the second minute of play on a beautiful pass from Princiel Kunieki (Portland, Maine). Warn made it 2-nil on another play from Kunieki 18 minutes later.

The Terriers wasted no time scoring in the second half, Shane Robinson (Devonshire, Bermuda) found the back of the net in the 53rd minute on a perfect play from Hunter Smith (Oakland, Maine) and Nicholas Garcia (Kingston, Mass. ). Robinson would score again in the fleeting moments of the game.

Eric LaBrie (Yarmouth, Maine) scored twice in the second half and now has an impressive seven goals on the season.  Kunieki ended the game with a stunning five assists including on both of LaBrie's goals.

Thomas goalkeeper Jonathan LeClair (Belmont, N.H.) started the game and picked up his ninth season of the win. Jayce Nielsen (Kittery, Maine) took over for LeClair in the second half, making three saves in his second relief appearance this season.

The Terriers improved to 9-2 on the season with the win and 7-1 in conference. They will travel to Bowdoin next for a non-conference game on Wednesday afternoon.
