WATERVILLE, Maine - Women's Soccer suffered another gritty one-nil loss, this time at the hands of SUNY-Delhi at home in a North Atlantic Conference matchup.
This is the third time this season that Thomas has lost one-nil, they also lost by that score to Lesley University and New England College earlier this season.
The Terriers and Broncos were very evenly matched through the first 70 minutes of the game. It wasn't until SUNY-Delhi was awarded a penalty kick in the 70th minute, which Micayla Slattery put just past the reach of goalkeeper Madison Rock (Bridgton, Maine). Rock made some outstanding saves earlier in the game to keep her team in it.
Thomas falls to 3-8 overall and 3-3 in conference play. They will travel to Bates on Thursday afternoon for a non-conference game. Game time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., and there will be live video and stats for those who cannot attend.
