CANTON, N.Y. – The Thomas College women's basketball team fell to SUNY Canton 78-47 in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Quarterfinal on Saturday afternoon.

The Roos jumped out to a quick lead in the opening quarter, holding a 20-7 advantage after one. Canton continued to control play, outscoring the Terriers 21-9 in the second quarter to take a 41-16 lead into intermission.

Each team scored 15 points in the third quarter before Canton pulled away with a 22-16 advantage in the final period to move on with the 78-47 win.

Addie Brinkman (Farmington, Maine) led the Terriers with 12 points and seven rebounds. Malorie Weaver (Palermo, Maine) and Kaylee Ravagli (Lowell, Mass.) each added eight points for Thomas.
