FH: Terriers Blank Beavers in Conference Win

FARMINGTON, Maine – The Thomas College field hockey team held UMaine-Farmington without a shot on goal as the Terriers took a 3-0 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) victory on the road on Saturday.

Kelci Faulkingham (Belfast, Maine) put Thomas on the board in the 22nd minute on an unassisted goal to go up 1-0 at the half.

Lindsey Gregoire (Kennebunk, Maine) extended the lead to 2-0 in the opening minutes of the second half with a goal in the 39th minute. Christina Denis (Waterville, Maine) scored her first career goal in the final seconds to give Thomas the 3-0 victory.

MacKenzie Oberholzer (Hancock, Md.) earned her second straight shutout win in the cage for Thomas, while Grace DiMarco took the loss for Farmington.

Thomas will host Colby-Sawyer on Sunday, September 30 at 1:00 PM in a non-conference game on Bernatchez Field.
