BIDDEFORD, ME – The Thomas College women's cross country team competed at the UNE Invitational in Biddeford, Maine on Saturday morning.

The host, University of New England, won the 5k event while Worcester State finished second, and Endicott College completed the top three.  The race was won by Tiana Thomas (UNE/19:47), Mia Rogers second (Worcester/19:52), and Brittney Sorbello third (UNE/20:05).

The Terriers were led by Alyssa Maggi (Belchertown, Mass. / Belchertown) who finished 107^th (27:04), Christiane Wadsworth (Washington, Maine / Medomak Valley) 110^th (27:15), Evelyn Swan (Bar Harbor, Maine / Mount Desert Island) 122^nd (28:50), and Tina Oms (Guilford, Maine / Piscataquis) 128^th (32:01).

The Terriers will next compete in the Johnson State Invitational on Saturday, September 17, in Johnson Vermont.
