Terriers Defeated by New England College

HENNIKER, N.H. – The Thomas women's basketball dropped a North Atlantic Conference game by a final score of 67-34 at New England College on Saturday afternoon. Katie McAllister led the Terriers in scoring, netting eight points in the defeat.

New England College got on the board first, and never looked back in the game.  Taylor Burgess scored five first-half points for the Pilgrims to give them a 25-15 lead going into the locker room.  McAllister, Ashleigh Gagne, and Sarah Pepin each scored four points in the first half for Thomas.

The second half would be all New England College, as they outscored the Terriers 42-19, powered by Kayla Lawlor, who scored 10 points in the second half for NEC.  Tess McClenahan scored five second-half points for Thomas, while McAllister chipped in four more points.

Sarah Pepin scored seven points off of the bench for Thomas, and Taylor Reynolds finished with five rebounds, while Gagne, McClenahan, and Jordan Agger-Barnes ended the game with six points each.

For the Pilgrims, four players finished with double-digit points, led by Lawlor who scored 16 in the game.  Kiley Williams led New England College on the glass, pulling down nine rebounds on the day.

The Terriers will be back in action on Friday, February 6, when they take on Johnson State College at Larry Mahaney Gymnasium on the campus of Thomas College.  Game time is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
