NORTHFIELD, VT - The Thomas ice hockey team was defeated by Norwich 9-4 on Sunday. Michael Hersom recorded two goals and two assists in the loss.

The Terriers were outscored 4-1 in the first period, as Hersom netted the lone goal on a power play opportunity, with assists from Jason Dicey and Eric Morin.

The second period played out evenly, as both teams notched two goals. Hersom scored his second goal of the game on assists by Dicey and Morin. Colby Blondin ended the period with a goal with assists from Hersom and Dicey.

The Cadets tacked on three more goals in the third to secure the win. Morin netted the lone Terrier goal in the period on assists from Dicey and Hersom.

Hersom and Dicey each led Thomas with four points each, with Dicey recording an assist on all four Terrier goals.
