Duplissie and Ming Lead Terriers Over Badgers 5-0.

JOHNSON, VT – Thomas College earned a 5-0 decision over Johnson State College in Vermont on Saturday. The Terriers advance to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action. The Badgers slide to 2-4-1 on the season and 0-1 in NAC play.

Dakota Duplissie and Tre Ming both scored two goals for Thomas College in the victory while John Flores-Mckenna also notched a goal in the Terriers' winning effort.
 
Duplissie broke open the scoring of off a William Nilson through ball for Thomas just two minutes into the opening stanza and Thomas never gave up control. In the 7th minute, Nilson set Duplissie up again with a cross that tore past Johnson keeper, Alex Pakatar, for a 2-0 lead. The Terriers scored once more before the end of the half, taking an outside the box pass from teammate London Steede-Jackson that Flores-Mckenna took home. The Terriers took the 3-0 advantage into the break. In the 62nd minute, Ming netted his first of two goals in the half, with his second tally coming just four minutes later to complete the scoring on the day.  
 
In goal for Thomas, Winston Trott turned away five shots for the Terriers and was credited with the win. Joakim Sternas saw 27 minutes of play and turned away one shot for Thomas. Pakatar finished with eight saves on the day for Johnson State.
 
Thomas returns to Vermont next weekend to play at Castleton State and Green Mountain.
