Box Score WATERVILLE, ME – Thomas College field hockey fell by a score of 4-0 at home to the Kean University Cougars on Saturday, September 13. Sophomore goalie Abby Charrier recorded five saves on the day for the Terriers.
Kean got the scoring going early, with Krista LaMaina putting one home just five minutes into the game. Just five minutes later, Marissa Robinson added another one to make it 2-0 Kean.
The 2-0 score would hold until late in the second half, when Marissa Robinson notched her second goal of the game, which was assisted by LaMaina.
Just before the final horn, with seven seconds remaining, Kean tallied one final goal, scored by Teresa Carr.
Terrier goalie Abby Charrier faced 9 shots on the day, stopping five of them. The Cougars goalie, Katie DiCarlo, stopped both shots she faced on the day.
Thomas will be back in action on Thursday, September 18, against Daniel Webster. Game time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Thomas College's Bernatchez Field.
