Box Score LYNDON CENTER, VT - Thomas College snapped their season-high three game winning streak, being defeated by Lyndon State College, 90-61, in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's basketball game on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Hornets improve to 10-11 overall and 10-4 in league play while the loss drops the Terriers to 9-12 overall and 9-5 in the NAC.
Garen Manzo had 13 points and eight rebounds for the Terriers and Stanley Greene Jr. collected 11 points, three assists and four steals. Levi Barnes had 10 points for Thomas while Marquis Pollard had nine rebounds and five blocked shots.
David Johnson led Lyndon with 31 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals and JoJo Woodruff amassed 25 points, seven rebounds and two assists. George Carle grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds to go along with seven points and Josh Bosworth added 11 points, seven rebounds and three steals.
Rob Alers had seven points, six rebounds and five assists for Lyndon.
Thomas will return home on Friday, Feb. 14 when they host Castleton State College at 7:30pm.
