Women's Tennis 2013 Outlook

WATERVILLE, ME – The Thomas women's tennis team will look to build off a successful 2012 season, which the squad went 5-5 in conference and earned the third seed for postseason.

Led by the 2012 North Eastern Atlantic Conference (NEAC) East Division Coach of the Year Lauren Bickford, the returning group of Jessica Bowen, Emily Howard, and Dalia Williams will provide leadership to the young team.

Bowen, who was named to the Single First-Team and Doubles First-Team last season will be counted on to continue and lead the squad. Williams will look to build off of a strong freshman year where she went 8-4 in singles play.

Newcomers Logan Bruneau and Lindsay Allen will look provide an immediate impact in their first year of competition, while Michaela Standley and Katie McAillister will add depth and contribute as well in their rookie seasons.

The Terriers will kick off their season on Thursday, September 5 hosting University of Southern Maine at 4pm.
