Women's Cross Country Preview: NAC Championship

Waterville, ME- Thomas will be the host to the North Atlantic Conference Women's Cross Country Championship will be held Sunday, November 3rd and the event will be held at Quarry Road and the race will start at noon.

The Terriers were predicted to finish 10th and they look to prove people wrong.

The Terriers have been led by the impressive season of new comer Crystal Peatfield, who is coming off an her first career first place finish at the Mariner Invitational running it in 20:57. Her time was an impressive 1:29 over the second place finisher.

"I am really excited to run in my first championship race. I have had a great season with great people and look forward to running in the NAC," says Peatfield.  "I am sure I will be nervous when I get there, but it's an excited nervous."

Behind Peatfield is first-year runner Nicole Ryder, Captain Samatha Felbaum, Jasmine Turner and Bea Parenteau, who all have had impressive season in their own right. Ryder and Felbaum who are coming off a 6th and 7th place finishes last week look to keep their momentum going into NAC championship meet.
