Waterville, ME- Crystal Peatfield led the women's cross country team with a 23:04 at the Colby College Invitational to a fifth place finish.
Finishing behind Peatfield was Nicole Ryder who finished with a time of 27:57. Behind Ryder was Samantha Felbaum who finished with a sprint to edge out an opposing teams runner with a time of 29:15. Jericca Stackpole and Jasmine Turner finished one spot apart, coming in forty-eighth and forty-ninth, with times of 31:02 and 32:01.
Coming in one-two in the race was Husson University runners Chrissy Larrabee and Aleica Palmer with times of 20:14 and 20:24. Husson's top two finishers weren't enough for the Eagles to take the team competition falling to the host Colby College who scored a 25.
The Terriers finished with a score of 102 on the day.
The Terriers will be back in action next at St. Joseph's College on October 12th.
