Box Score LYNDON, VT- Lyndon outshot Thomas 88-72 Friday night in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's basketball contest. The Hornets improved on their NAC record to 5-0 Friday while the Terriers fell to 5-4 overall, 2-2 in conference play.
Levi Barnes (Skowhegan, Maine) led the Terriers with 15 points and two steals and teammate
Franklin Salvador (Somerville, Mass.) had 13 points, going 4-9 from beyond the arc.
Marquis Pollard (Philadelphia, Pa.), Jerrod DeVaughn (Brockton, Mass.),and
Shaun Munson (Hampton, N.H.) had four rebounds each in the loss and
Justin Murray handed out three assists.
Devyn Baranauskas tossed in 23 points and had a game-high two steals for the Hornets, while Jason Gray chipped in 18 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots. George Carle had eight points, 10 rebounds and two steals for the winners and Patrick Dunn added 10 points off the bench.
Thomas returns to action in the final game of the Vermont road trip tomorrow against Johnson State at 3pm.
