FARMINGTON, ME- The Thomas women's cross country team participated in the 5k University of Maine at Farmington meet Saturday. The Terriers did not score due to not having five runners participating.
Sophomore Rachel Reed (Boothbay Harbor, Maine) of Thomas runners with a 28:49 effort to place 33rd overall. Chelsie Morris (Livermore Falls, Maine) followed with a 34th place finish (28:57). At 35th position was Kaitlyn Belanger (Clinton, Maine) (28:57), and Jerrica Stackpole (Biddeford, Maine) placed 44th with a finishing time of 42:33.
Husson University won the meet with 24 combined score, led by Alecia Palmer who finished first with a 21:26.
Thomas will complete in the Colby College race next Saturday, Sept. 29 at 11am.
