Box Score BANGOR, ME- The Terriers (3-0, 1-0 NAC) continue their winning ways as they defeated reigning North Atlantic Conference (NAC) champion Husson (3-3, 0-1 NAC) in a men's soccer contest Saturday night. Michael Hand (Essex, England) scored his conference leading fifth goal of the season.
Hand would score just two minutes into the competition, assisted by Dakota Duplisse (Hampden, Maine), who now is tied for a league high four assists. Hand would also have a game high four shots, but could not find the back of the twine on his other three attempts.
Despite getting the victory, the Terriers were outshot by the Eagles 21-9. Mikkail Crockwell (St. David's, Bermuda) picked up eight saves in the win. His counterpart Brian Potter had four saves in the loss for Husson.
Thomas will return to the pitch Tuesday night as they host in-state rival Southern Maine under the lights at 7pm.
