Box Score WATERVILLE, ME- Thomas fell to Regis College 1-0, in a women's soccer match on Saturday afternoon. Terriers goalkeeper Kate Thibodeau had 14 saves in a losing effort.
Pride forward Adena Joseph (Stoughton, Mass) scored what turned out to be the game-clincher in the 64th minute off a cross down the middle from Jasmin Vivar (Attleboro, Mass.), who found Joseph in the box to pick up the assist.
With the 1-0 deficit, the Terriers poured on the pressure in the second half getting many shots off, but Regis netminder Rachel Gagnon (Ashford, Conn.) was up to the task on each occasion and capped the game with six stops.
Jillian Lambert (Dayton, Maine) posted six shots for the Terriers, while Bronte Howorth (Lincoln, Mass.) had three shot attempts.
Thomas will play in-state rival University of Southern Maine in a non-league match tomorrow, Sept. 2 at 1pm.
