STANDISH, ME- The Thomas women's cross country team placed 8th overall in the Runnin Monks Invitational hosted by Saint Joseph's College Saturday afternoon. Chelsie Morris (Livermore Falls, Maine) led the Terriers with a 36th place finish finishing at 26:00.
Amanda Dion (Foxboro, Mass.) placed 43rd at 27:46 and Jericca Stackpole (Biddeford, Maine) was right behind her at 44th (28:00). Samantha Felbaum (Saco, Maine) was 52nd with a 30:17 and Rachel Clark (Oakland, Maine) got 62nd with a 43:14.
Heather Eaton placed first at 21:20 to help lead the host Monks to a first place finish with 62 points.
The Terriers will be back in action next Saturday for the Maine State Championships hosted by University of Southern Maine at noontime.
