BUCKSPORT, ME- Thomas College had a season best third place finish in the Mariner Invitational on Saturday. Jerrica Stackpole (Biddeford, Maine) had a team best 10th place finish at 25:08.
Chelsie Morris (Livermore Falls, Maine) finished in 12th place with a time of 25:29. Amanda Dion (Foxboro, Mass.) and Samantha Felbaum (Saco, Maine) took 14th and 15th places, respectively. Dion clocked a 27:19 while Felbaum raced a 30:21. Rachel Clark (Oakland, Maine) rounded out Thomas' entry with a 37:22 for 18th place.
The University of Maine at Presque Isle produced the first five runners across the finish line at the Mainer Invitational at Bucksport High School. The Owls' Kayla Lagasse (Presque Isle, Maine ) won the three-mile event with a time of 19:51.
Thomas returns to action next weekend at the North Atlantic Conference Championships.
