Box Score WATERVILLE, ME- Thomas (10-2-2, 6-0-1 NAC) defeated Maine Maritime (9-6, 6-2 NAC) 1-0 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men's soccer contest on a brisk Wednesday night. Khamisi Lightbourne (Sandy's, Bermuda) scored the lone goal of the contest.
Lightbourne scored in the 34th minute burying the ball in the left side of the net off a pass by Kenny Cano (Lowell, Mass.) to give Thomas the victory.
Both teams put on a lot of pressure in the offense end, with the Terriers holding a 13-11 advantage in shots. Thomas also had a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.
Goaltender Mikkail Crockwell (St. David's, Bermuda) had a game high five saves, while collecting his fifth clean sheet of the season. His counterpart William Trace Lacour had two saves in the loss for MMA.
The Terriers will return to the pitch Saturday as they travel to Lyndon State for a 3:30pm game.
