Farmington, Maine – The Thomas College men's cross country team placed seventh today in the UMF Invitational, hosted at Mt. Blue High School. The men finished with an average time of 26:30.40, freshman Will Watson led the Terriers with a time of 24:43 finishing 26th in a field of 64 runners. The University of New England took first place in the event with an average time of 22:07.20.
On the women's side senior Sarah Estes led the Terriers with a time 27:43, placing 42nd in a field of 69 runners. UNE also took first place in the women's meet as well; the Terriers did not place in the event.
The Terriers will be back in action on September 10th when they travel to UNE; women will run at 10:45 a.m. and the men will run at 11:30 a.m.
