Box Score Waterville, Maine – The Thomas College women's soccer team fell to the Spartans of Castleton State 6-0, in a North Atlantic Conference match up Sunday afternoon. With the loss the Terriers fall to 2-10 (2-5 NAC) on the season, while the visiting Spartans improve to 10-4 (5-0 NAC).
The Spartans were led by Hilary Cooke who recorded a hat-trick. Along with Cooke three other Spartans scored. Sarah Ethier, Courtney Chadburn, and Kelsey Garceau each scored one goal in the first half.
Sophomore goalkeeper Kate Tibodeau had 17 saves on 23 shots against her. Getting the win was first year Katja Langmaid with five saves.
The Terriers are back in action on Wednesday the October 12th at Unity. The Spartans are will take on Husson on October 15th.
