Terriers End Skid Downing USM 2-0

Gorham, Maine – The Thomas College Men's Soccer team ended a three game skid picking up a 2-0 win over the Huskies of the University of Southern Maine. Sophomore goal keeper Mikkail Crockwell picked up his fifth clean sheet of the season turning away four USM shots in the non-conference win.

The game remained at zeros till the 30th minute with Terriers (5-4, 1-3 NAC) sophomore Matt Ford came down the left side and sent a low cross into the box where freshman Khamisi Lightbourne redirected the ball into the net for the 1-0 lead.

The Terriers got some insurance over the Huskies (2-9) off the foot of freshman Dakota Duplisse when he finished a Mattias Schyberg cross for the 2-0 lead.

Thomas returns to Alumni Field on Saturday October, 8th when they host Green Mountain in a North Atlantic Conference match up.
