Men Pick Up a 4-1 Victory over MMA

Castine, Maine – Thomas College freshman Blake Boswell assisted on three goals to help lead the Terriers to a 4-1 win over the Mariners of Maine Maritime Academy in a North Atlantic Conference match up on Wednesday evening.

Boswell got the offense rolling when he played a ball into the box for fellow freshman Dakota Duplisse, who sent a blast into the lower left corner in the 16th minute to give the Terriers (9-5, 4-3 NAC) a 1-0 lead.

Duplisse's tally was all the scoring in the first half as the Terriers took a 1-0 lead into the break.

Michael Hand put the Terriers up by two when he scored an unassisted goal in the late 63rd minute; the goal would stand as the game winner.

Benjamin Russell put the Mariners (7-4-2, 4-3-1 NAC) on the board 12 minutes after Hand's goal to make it a 2-1 game. Three minutes later Paul Rechichi put the Terriers back up by two with a goal assisted by Boswell.

Freshman Khamisi Lightbourne tacked on the final goal of the game off of Boswell's third assist sealing a 4-1 win for the Terriers.

Sophomore goalkeeper Mikkail Crockwell picks up his ninth win of the season with a five save performance.

The Terriers will wrap up the 2011 regular season against Lyndon at home on Saturday October 22nd
